
MADHYA PRADESH TEACHER'S ELIGIBILITY TEST
The Government of Madhya Pradesh,in collaboration with Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) conducts Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) also called as Samvidha exams.The MP TET examination is conducted to select aspiring candidates, for high school teachers vacancy and also for recruitment of middle school teachers for the various schools of Madhya Pradesh State.
The Madhya Pradesh TET is for those aspirants who wish to make their career in teaching profile. It is necessary for them to give the state teacher eligibility test to get the job of teacher in government and private schools.
Every year The authority usually conducts the Madhya Pradesh High School Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) and MP Middle School Teacher Eligibility Test for around 17,000 and 5,670 vacancies. All the selected candidates are awarded eligibility certificate with which they can apply to teach in higher secondary as well as secondary classes in various schools of Madhya Pradesh.
Exam Pattern
- MP TET Exam Pattern for high school teacher:
- The MP TET exam for high school teacher is conducted in two parts and the overall exam is of 150 marks and total timing is 2hours & 30 min.
- This exam will be taken from various subjects taken by candidates. in total there will be 100 question of 1 mark each. The various subjects are 1. Hindi 2. English 3. Sanskrit 4. Urdu 5. Mathematics 6. Physics 7. Biology 8. Chemistry 9. Home Science 10. Commerce 11. History 12. Geography 13. Political Science 14. Economics 15. Agriculture 16. Sociology So in total there will be 150 question (50 paper -1 and 100 paper -2)of 150 marks. Candidates those who clears paper-1 will only be eligible for paper-2

Eligibility
- Educational qualification:
- Educational qualification for high school teacher:
- Candidates who have completed their post-graduation in their respective subjects with second division or have B.Ed degree or its equivalent can apply for MP High School Teacher Eligibility Test 2019.
- Educational qualification for primary school teacher:

Candidates who have completed Diploma in Elementary Education/ B.Ed/ B.EI.Ed/
Integrated B.Ed along with Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for Middle School
Teacher posts.
The candidates must have a minimum of 50% of marks in D.Ed/ B.Ed/ B.EI.Ed/ Integrated B.Ed and Bachelor’s degree. - Age Limit:
- The minimum age to appear for this Exam is 21 years. This means that the candidate must have at least 21 years of age on 1st August of that given year when the exam is held.
- Upper age limit: Upper age limit for General category is 40 years for male , 45 for female candidate. For OBC/ST/SC/PWD it is 45 years.
- Nationality
- The candidate must be citizen of India
- Qualifying Marks
- Qualifying marks for general category candidate is 60% where as for ST/SC/OBC candidates requires to score 50%
