Every year the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) conducts the Patwari Examination. In total there are around 9235 vacancies through out the state for patwari post.

Exam Pattern

• There is only one online exam for Patwari post selection by MP PEB . The total questions in the online written examination are 100 and each question carries 1 mark. The candidates need to complete the question paper within 90 minutes. The questions paper is of Objective type.
• This online written exam is comprised of various subjects namely General Knowledge, General Mathematics & General Aptitude, General Hindi, Rural Economy, and Panchayati Raj.

Eligibility

• Educational qualification:
• The interested candidates have to be a graduate from any discipline from a recognized university. Appearing candidates in final year can also apply.


• Age Limit:
• The minimum age to appear for upsc Exam is 21 years. This means that the candidate must have at least 21 years of age on 1st August of that given year when the exam is held.
• Upper age limit for General category is 40 years for male, 45 for female candidate.
• For OBC/ST/SC/PWD it is 45 years.
• Nationality:
• The candidate must be the citizen of Madhya Pradesh INDIA

  Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Fractions, Percentages, Decimals, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Averages, Filed Book, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Geometry, Use of Table and Graphs, Interest, Discount, Ratio and Time, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Logical Reasoning, Time and Work etc.
• General Knowledge

• Computer Knowledge:
  Computer Basics, Multimedia, Input & Output Devices, Word Processing, Computer Organisation, Presentation Package, Operating System, Spreadsheet Package, Information Technology & Society etc.
• Hindi:

• Rural economy:
  Basics of rural economy, Indian Agriculture, Land Reforms, Irrigation resources and projects, Role of revenue officer, Government Schemes, (Gram Sadak Yojana, Gram Awas Yojana, Fasal Beema Yojana), Green Revolution, Rural Unemployment & MNREGA, Rural Poverty & Allied Themes, Social Inclusion, Rural Welfare Activities.
• Panchayti Raj:
  History of Panchayati Raj, Various Committees (Balwant Rai Mehta, Ashok Mehta, G V K Rao, L M Singhvi), 73rd Constitutional Amendment, (Gram Sabha, State Election Commission, State Finance Commission, Eleventh Schedule), Right to information (In context to Panchayati Raj), 3 Tier System, Panchayati Raj in M.P, PESA (Objective of the Act, Features of the Act).
